Michael Dotzler, VP / CFO

Michael J. Dotzler is a senior financial executive with a wealth of experience spanning over 32 years. Dotzler built a name for himself developing profit-oriented, financial and operating strategies and is also known for his skills in problem solving, motivation, productivity enhancement and utilizing resources to the fullest.

Dotzler is a proven leader and strategic planner. His expertise also includes effective transitions to advanced computerized systems and is proficient with many different software applications specializing in construction and governmental accounting.

C.O. Green, VP / General Manager

C.O. Green brings over 26 years experience in heavy industrial construction to the NANA team, including 20 years in supervisory positions. C.O. is well versed in all disciplines of industrial construction and over the years has held positions such as Field Engineer, Discipline Superintendent, General Superintendent, HSE Supervisor and Project Manager. He rose up through the trades as an iron worker/rigger and holds a Master Rigger certification.

Green has experience working under pressure, in everything from commercial high-rise construction to shore-based and offshore petro-chemical projects — many of which required facility shutdown and thus working in a fast track environment.

J.D. Lonas, VP / Procurement

J.D. Lonas has over 33 years experience in procurement, material and warehouse control on a wide variety of projects including pipelines, construction equipment fleet, engineering and facilities maintenance, in both the U.S. and abroad.

Lonas is a proven leader with wealth of expertise that includes everything from the development of material procedures, set up and operation of warehouses, performing material take-offs from drawings and training of local personnel to general warehousing functions and procurement.

Anita Archuleta, VP / Health, Safety, Security, Environment

Anita R. Archuleta has 20 years of Alaska construction industry experience, with expertise in risk management, health, safety, security, environmental, worker’s compensation, contracts and legal issues.

Archuleta is the leading force behind NANA Construction’s Health, Safety, Security & Environmental program and is also responsible for the development and implementation of site-specific HSSE programs. Archuleta has extensive training and numerous certifications in safety and safety training, and lends her considerable expertise to all departments of NANA Construction to ensure company compliance in all local, state, and federal HSSE regulations.

Sagen Juliussen, VP / Business Development

Sagen brings 24 years of Alaskan industrial construction experience, with 15 years of that in the Estimating arena. He has extensive expertise in structural, architectural and insulation disciplines. He has worked in supervisory positions in the estimating department as well as in the field and fabrication facility environments.

Sagen is a certified Estimating Professional through AACEI. He has been involved in the Alaska sealift and truckable module industry since 1986. He has taken projects from the planning stage and constructability reviews; to design, fabrication and installation.

Don Pfaff,  VP / Human Resources

Don has over 40 years experience in the Construction Industry, with the past 15 years in the HR and Recruiting. He has worked to expand Native American shareholder job participation by implementing training programs, increasing communication and evaluating skills and utilizing available manpower. Don has set up web-based programs to track qiualifications and records of employees.

Pfaff holds a degree from Seattle's Pacific School of Theology, and is an experienced counsellor.

Kirk Carpenter, Quality Assurance Manager -- Mechanical Administrator

Kirk has over 29 years of experience in quality performing in a variety of positions including Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Inspection coordinator. Job functions have included preparation of quality systems, processes, procedures and managing inspection personnel in multi-discipline activities such as welding, mechanical, structural, coating and electrical.

Kirk has overall responsibility for NANA Construction's quality programs, which include site specific quality plans for Big Lake fabrication shop and field projects, quality implementation procedures, National Board "R" program and UL-142 certifications. Kirk is directly responsible for development and implementation of the NANA Construction ISO 9001-2008 compliant Quality Management system.

Doug Alke, Electrical Administrator

Doug Alke brings over 25 years experience in the construction industry, including over 20 years as an electrician, to the NANA team. Alke’s expertise includes fabrication and installation of industrial electrical projects, with proven supervisory skills. Over the years, he has successfully managed many projects on Alaska’s rugged North Slope and other locations.

Alke is a licensed Alaska Electrical Administrator, Alaska Electrical Journeyman, and Safety Trained Supervisor (STS).  He attended North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota and later became a Journeyman Electrician in 1993 working on the fabrication and installation of modules.

Lonnie McCown, Project Manager

Lonnie R. McCown has long been a force in Alaska’s construction industry, with over 45 years of oilfield construction experience in major process, general construction, and offshore drilling platforms. He also has a strong background in process and systems piping, structural steel erection and fabrication, along with 38 years of arctic experience and expertise in the gas and petroleum industry performing module fabrication and installation, steel erection and piping installation.

McCown has managed a wide variety of projects over the years and holds multiple management, training and safety certifications.
